BI-MU is the international exhibition dedicated to the manufacturing industry of metal cutting and metal forming machine tools, robots, automation systems, digital and additive manufacturing, auxiliary and enabling technologies.

HALL 13 - Stand D05

Buffoli Industries will participate in the BI-MU 2024 fair with three group companies exhibiting in the RobotHeart area (Hall 13, Stand D05, next to the ABB stand, of which the group is a Value Provider and partner):

- Buffoli Transfer, will present a wide range of high-performance, quickly reconfigurable automated solutions for processing metal parts in seconds from cast/forged parts or directly from the bar. These solutions range from multi-center machines with suspended table for flexible production of complex parts in medium batches, optimizing chip evacuation and accessibility, to the Trans-Bar and Trans-Bar-Turn multi-spindle bar machines, where Buffoli is the world leader and the only manufacturer capable of providing a valid alternative to lathes to reduce piece cost, speed up tooling operations, and increase operational autonomy with unattended shifts. Buffoli Transfer is an ABB Value Provider and supplies entire automated lines equipped with washing, inspection, and palletizing systems.

- Advanced Robotics will present the ABB OmniVance Tending Machine, a machine tending cell based on cobot technology. This advanced technology has been combined by Advanced Robotics with a vision system equipped with Artificial Intelligence, capable of performing quality control of pieces both entering and exiting a fully automated production process. This solution aims to improve the autonomy, efficiency, and precision of production processes.

- Weaream, Competence Center for Additive Manufacturing, will exhibit a Meltio ABB robotic cell for metal 3D printing using wire-based laser DED (Direct Energy Deposition) technology. This innovation allows the production of metal parts with forged-like characteristics and new, unique shapes, revolutionizing the metalworking sector. Weaream will also present its wide range of additive manufacturing machinery, including an ultrasonic atomizer for the production of innovative AM powders or custom recipes, to provide consulting services and fine-tuning of additive materials and processes.
